The Partnership’s Vision is that by 2026, our waterways and catchments will be healthy ecosystems supporting the livelihoods and lifestyles of people in South East Queensland, and will be managed through collaboration between community, government and industry

The South East Queensland Healthy Waterways Partnership is a collaboration between the Queensland Government, local governments, industries, research organisations and community groups.
The Partners work together to improve how we manage our catchments and the health of the waterways in South East Queensland and have recently developed the South East Queensland Healthy Waterways Strategy 2007-2012 (the Strategy).
The work of the South East Queensland Healthy Waterways Partnership is coordinated through the Partnership Office which delivers five programs:
