Seqwater is South East Queensland’s bulk water supply provider and is responsible for managing and operating the region’s catchments, dams and water treatment facilities.
With more than one million visitors each year, Seqwater dams and adjacent recreation areas are an important destination for many South East Queensland residents and tourists.
Seqwater strives to balance the ongoing health of the catchments and quality of the region’s drinking water supply while providing access for a range of permit based recreational activities such as powered and non-powered boating, camping and fishing.
Many locations also have a range of day-use recreational facilities that include picnic areas, BBQs, toilets, walking trails and playgrounds available to the community.
